Dear Patients and Community Members,
At VNACJ Community Health Center, we remain dedicated to providing primary care, as well as
medical, dental, and behavioral health services to our communities—just as we have done for
over 30 years.
We want to share an important update about one of our key programs. Beginning in 2026,
VNACJ Community Health Center will no longer provide Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)
services at our Asbury Park location. This program had been supported through a grant from
the New Jersey Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services, which ended earlier this year.
As a result, it is no longer feasible for us to continue offering MAT services in Asbury Park
beyond December 31, 2025.
Current MAT patients will have the option to continue their care through our Keyport Integrated
Behavioral Health Program at 35 Broad Street, Keyport. This comprehensive program offers
MAT, other treatment for substance use disorder, and short-term counseling, all within a
dedicated Behavioral Health Suite—the first of its kind across our four health centers.
If you need help getting to Keyport, please contact us for transportation assistance. For
questions or concerns, or if you need support transitioning your care, please reach out to
Program Manager Beth Bykow at beth.bykow@vnachc.org.
As a community health center, we continuously assess the needs of those we serve while
navigating funding challenges and other changes. Your support helps us continue our mission
to build healthy communities and enhance well-being. To contribute, please click here:
