*BASED ON CDC AND FDA RECOMMENDATIONS THE VNACJ CHC WILL NOT BE GIVING JOHNSON AND JOHNSON (JANSSEN) VACCINE UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE*
For those who have received J+J vaccine already: The risk of a serious problem is extremely low (6 people in 7 million). At the present time there are no recommendations for anything different to be done for those who have already been vaccinated. People who have received the J&J vaccine who develop severe headache, abdominal pain, leg pain, or shortness of breath within three weeks after vaccination should contact their health care provider. Health care providers are asked to report adverse events to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System at https://vaers.hhs.gov/reportevent.html.
IMPORTANT MESSAGE: If you have a fever, cough or shortness of breath (and may have been exposed to Coronavirus), we need to speak with you BEFORE you come to the health center so we can help you decide the best way to treat your symptoms. Please call us at (732) 774-6333 and kindly do not walk in before calling first.
