Asbury Park, New Jersey – May 15, 2024: Sarina Brady, CEO of VNACJ Community Health Center (CHC), has been named one of the 2024 Health Care Heroes by NJBIZ, one of New Jersey’s leading business news publications. The Health Care Heroes awards program recognizes excellence, promotes innovation, and celebrates the outstanding contributions of individuals and organizations shaping the healthcare landscape in New Jersey.
Ms. Brady was honored as one of seven winners in the “Public Health Hero” category, a testament to her exceptional leadership and unwavering dedication to advancing public health initiatives in Monmouth County. Under her guidance, the CHC has evolved into a vital healthcare resource serving over 15,000 individuals and facilitating more than 60,000 patient visits annually across its four locations throughout the county.

Ms. Brady’s leadership is exemplified by the CHC’s recent achievement of securing a major grant to implement a “High Reliability Organization” program. This initiative underscores her proactive approach to enhancing the reliability, consistency, and safety of healthcare services for Monmouth County residents. By embracing this innovative model, VNACJ Community Health Center is poised to elevate its mission of building healthy communities and enhancing well-being.
Ms. Brady was one of two members of the VNA Health Group family to receive the Health Care Hero award this year. The other recipient was Colleen Nelson, Vice President of Clinical Operations for the Children & Family Health Institute.
The honorees, including Ms. Brady and Ms. Nelson, will be recognized during an in-person awards ceremony at The Palace at Somerset Park on Tuesday, June 25th, at 8:00 a.m.
