At VNACJ Community Health Center, we remain dedicated to providing primary care, as well as medical, dental, and behavioral health services to our communities—just as we have done for over 30 years. Advocacy for, and by, community health centers is more important now than ever.
We’d like to take this opportunity to share some important updates about our key programs:
- Medication-Assisted Treatment Program: The grant funding for our Medication-Assisted Treatment program in Asbury Park will conclude next month. As this program has helped many, we are committed to continuing these services. Beginning April 1, the program will operate on a limited basis, two days per week, with appointments still available.
- Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner: As our Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in Asbury Park is transitioning to a role outside our organization, we will work with our patients to continue their care in our Keyport location or transition to a provider of their choice.
- Behavioral Health Expansion: We’re excited to announce new funding for our Keyport location to expand our behavioral health services! This includes substance use disorder treatment, such as Medication-Assisted Treatment, and additional behavioral health services. A dedicated Behavioral Health Suite is being developed—the first of its kind within our four health centers.
- Growth of our Ryan White Program: Our Ryan White services in Asbury Park continue to grow and develop. To meet increasing needs, we are recruiting a new physician to join our team and provide these critical services.
As a community health center, we continuously assess the needs of those we serve, aiming to expand and develop services while navigating funding challenges. Your support helps us continue our mission to build healthy communities and enhance well-being. To contribute, please click here: https://vnahg.org/donate-vnacjchc/
