Asbury Park, New Jersey – January 3, 2024: VNACJ Community Health Center (CHC) proudly announces Dr. Usha Rana as its Dental Director, a newly created role designed to elevate the organization’s dental services. Dr. Rana, who has practiced general dentistry at the CHC’s Red Bank and Keyport locations since October 2022, will now take on the added responsibility of ensuring excellence, overseeing quality standards, and evaluating the potential expansion of new dental services.
With over two decades of general and advanced dentistry experience and two years as a valued team member, Dr. Rana will propel the organization’s mission to build healthier communities and enhance well-being. Before joining the CHC, she managed a highly successful private practice in Hoboken, New Jersey, and completed a dental residency at UMDNJ-Stratford. Dr. Rana obtained her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from UMDNJ and her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Rutgers University.
“We are excited to appoint Dr. Rana as our Dental Director,” said Dr. Ian Leber, Chief Medical Officer of VNACJ Community Health Center. “Her dedication to providing exceptional dental care and understanding of our values make her the perfect candidate, and we believe her leadership will contribute significantly to the growth and success of our dental services.”
As the CHC’s new Dental Director, Dr. Rana’s leadership promises a significant impact on the quality of dental care and the organization’s outreach initiatives. Her dedication to high-quality care will enhance the community’s access to quality oral health and, in turn, the overall well-being of individuals, preventing and addressing dental issues effectively.
“I am incredibly grateful to work with this amazing, dedicated team,” expressed Dr. Rana. “This role presents a unique opportunity to shape the future of our dental services, ensuring our patients receive the highest quality of care. I look forward to collaborating with my colleagues at the CHC to enhance and expand our services to benefit the communities we serve.”
Dr. Rana’s influence will go beyond clinical settings to reach the heart of the community, where preventive care and education lay the foundation for lasting health improvements. The communities served by the CHC can expect a lasting, positive impact on the quality and availability of its dental services under Dr. Rana’s leadership.
