The vaccine, packed in a cooler full office, arrived from the Visiting Nurse Association of Central Jersey, and a cheer went up. The supply was more limited than usual after a winter storm swept through the country, stranding a new shipment of doses in Louisville, Kentucky. But the VNA had enough to to vaccinate 137 people, most of whom would receive their second round. The YMCA is one of four VNA vaccination sites in Monmouth County. And it is staffed with three nurses to provide vaccinations, several workers to input data into the computer, one greeter to check people in and another to direct traffic.
