COVID-19 Vaccine and Testing Info

COVID-19 Vaccines and Testing

The VNA of Central Jersey Community Health Center (VNACJ- CHC) has moved its COVID-19 vaccine services into large community based locations in anticipation of increased demand for vaccines as the deadlines for many public and private employer mandates are approaching and as the FDA has signaled that it is likely to issue an Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) for “boosters” of the Pfizer vaccine for people aged 65 and older and those with serious health issues in the near future.

The federally qualified community health center with primary care locations in Asbury Park, Freehold, Keyport and Red Bank, has administered over 86,000 vaccines since they became available late last year.

Effective Monday, September, 20, the Pfizer, Moderna and J&J/Janssen vaccines will be available Monday through Friday from 9am-4pm in Asbury Park at the Second Baptist Church at 124 Atkins Ave, Asbury Park, NJ 07712.

On Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am through 4pm in Long Branch, all three vaccines are available at the Adam Bucky James Community Center, 231 Wilbur Ray Ave, Long Branch, NJ 07740

On Monday, September 27, the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines only will be available in Red Bank at St. Anthony’s of Padua Parish Center Gym, 27 Herbert Street, Red Bank, NJ 07701, also Monday through Friday from 9am-4pm.

First, second and third (when appropriate) doses of Pfizer and Moderna vaccines are available at all locations. The one and done J&J /Janssen vaccine is available in Asbury Park and Long Branch.

VNACJ-CHC also offers all three vaccines at its Keyport Primary Care Center, 35 Broad St, Keyport, NJ 07735 and the Freehold Family Health Center, 597 Park Ave, Freehold, NJ 07728, Monday through Friday from 10am through 3:30 pm

There are no appointments or registration necessary to get a vaccine from a VNACJ-CHC site. However, the process will be faster for those who pre-register at this link.
