VNACJ Community Health Center (CHC) is proud to announce it will host Crucial Catch Day – Intercept Cancer event, thanks to a partnership between the American Cancer Society and The National Football League. The event is open to the public and will offer free cancer screenings, giveaways, health information, food and games for kids.

Crucial Catch Day is a more relaxed (and fun) way to learn about your cancer risk, how to prevent cancer especially if you are at risk as well as to discover how to receive regular cancer screenings at low or no cost.

The event will be held on October 26, 2017 at the CHC of Asbury Park from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Members of the public are invited to attend and no R.S.V.P. is necessary.

Bring the kids as the event will feature fun and games for kids, food, music and free giveaways! It’s sure to be a day full of family fun for everyone.

This event is made possible through a grant from the American Cancer Society, funded by the National Football League. The NFL’s Crucial Catch initiative provides funding to support cancer prevention and early detection (CEED) activities aimed to reduce the unequal burden of cancer in underserved communities through the American Cancer Society’s Community Health Advocates implementing Nationwide Grants for Empowerment and Equity (CHANGE) program. VNACJ Community Health Center (CHC) is affiliated with the Visiting Nurse Association Health Group’s Children and Family Health Institute.
